What a week this week has been. i have spent the last two weeks thinking how im going to get rid/prevent the coming sogginess with the predicted rains. we considered adding drain pipe to push out the water to next door but that was going to cost a small fortune so we decided to spend the coin and bring in some certified organic soil… (waste of money biggest mistake i have made to date) found out council green waste can get an organic certified input😕. Anyway we lifted the garden beds 350mm off the ground and added trenches to allow for better run off etc we now have four 5mtr x 700mm beds that are starting to come along nicely. i tried to save as much veggies as possible and will be adding the summer crops in the next coming fortnite, we started today with root crops and yam beans along with flowers for good bugs and bees. cant wait for the next 4 days as we go back in fruiting crops its going to be a very busy week. here are some photos so u all can see the mess that is starting to take shape
