Just returned from a holiday to southern Germany. Its amazing how well food growing is integrated into local communities. I love the walking/bike trails through farming areas and no fences. And yet the public keeps off cultivations and animals are in electric fencing. How different to Australia!. Late spring garden on return home has lots of plants ready for harvesting of seed.
