Talk about cities taking urban food growing seriously!

If you know a friend who has been thinking about getting their hands dirty and start growing own food it might be worth reminding them of the benefits of food gardening, or gardening in general.

The first issue of Gleanings is ready. Gleanr members can download a free copy in the Toolshed. Once again, thanks to the number of people who contributed by sharing knowledge, ideas and insights at the Urban Agriculture Dialogues. Many of those contributors are members of Gleanr community which is inspiring to see.

In September Gleanr launched a new initiative called ‘Urban Agriculture Dialogues’ in the Parliament House in Brisbane. We’ll publish a document titled ‘Gleanings’ which is inspired by the discussion that took place at the Dialogues. Stay tuned!
